This part is dedicated to practicing simple volumes in different metal colours. Participants will develop an understanding of light and shadow, learning to approach drawing different metal volumes such as flat and angled surfaces, spheres, tubes, chains, and toruses.
Part 2.
Ribbons and knots
The second part delves into painting ribbons and knots, beloved subjects in jewellery art. We will learn to paint twisted flat metal ribbons and wire knots.
Part 3.
Folds and textures
In the third part, we will paint folded surfaces and complex objects. Based on the knowledge and skills you get in the previous parts, we will learn folds construction and paint an illustration of a folded metal brooch.
Final lesson is dedicated to drawing gemstone compositions(jewels)
